LaChelle Bailie, M.P.A.

LaChelle Bailie was a Research Specialist for the Public Policy Center (PPC). She provided assistance to both the Partnering to Reach Integrated Competitive Employment Project (PRICE), and the Community Services Implementation Project (C-SIP).

Ms. Bailie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995 and her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1999. She was employed with Union Pacific Railroad immediately prior to joining the PPC. There she served as Manager of Transportation and Logistics in Dispatching. Ms. Bailie has also worked for the Omaha Housing Authority as an International Case Facilitator- Employment First, Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator, Section 8 Housing Specialist and Recreation/Resident Relation Specialist.

Her current research interests involve the resettlement concerns surrounding Sudanese refugees. She has served as a panel member, advocate and guest speaker on various occasions for issues related to Sudanese resettlement.
