Shu-Ren Chang Shu-Ren Chang: Currently employed as a psychometrician in the Rockford , Illinois Public Schools. He has made significant contributions to testing fairness in computerized adaptive testing (CAT) through his research. Shu-Ren has been recognized through a Dissertation Fellowship for the CCKF International Scholarly Exchange, a Slawski Summer Fellowship in Psychometrics, and Outstanding Teaching Award and more. Shu-Ren started working at the Public Policy Center in September 2004 as a Graduate Research Assistant. He graduated with a Ph.D. in educational psychology with emphasis in Quantitative, Qualitative, and Psychometric Methods (QQPM). His hobby is practicing martial arts (hand forms in Mantis Fist and weapons in sword, knife, double knives, pole, and spear. At UNL, he founded two organizations, Taiji Martial Art Association (TMAA) ( http://www.unl.edu/taiji ) in Oct. 2002 and Chinese Language and Cultural Exchange Association (CLACEA) ( http://www.unl.edu/chinese/ ) in June 2003.
