This project focused on coordinating health care services in order to reduce minority health disparities related to cardiovascular disease. The Public Policy Center used accurate data collection and analysis in order to evaluate the impact of the grant.
Project researchers assessed state meat inspection programs (nationally with foci on neighboring states of Kansas and Minnesota) so that the Agricultural Committee of the legislature could determine the advisability of Nebraska implementing a meat inspection program.
