Water Funding Task Force Facilitation

The Public Policy Center was asked to provide assistance and discussion relative to facilitating the initial meeting of the Legislatively-created Water Funding Task Force. This included assistance on topics such as: election of officers, selection of a consultant, suggested meeting schedules, potential educational assistance, and potential roles for Task Force members.

Hometown Competitiveness

PPC researchers identified realistic goals and strategies to reverse rural decline, such as building leadership and community capacity, engaging youth, fostering local philanthropy, and supporting entrepreneurship. The Public Policy Center focused on the documentation of practices and experiences of the seven communities that were participating in the Hometown Center entrepreneur system during the time period.
