2012 LOSS Conference to be held in Nebraska

The 2012 LOSS (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors) Conference will be held May 31 - June 1, 2012 in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Dr. Frank Campbell, a leading expert in Suicidology along with other experts, will share the lessons learned in years of helping survivors of suicide, how sudden traumatic loss impacts survivors and grief through the different developmental stages.

Children's Mental Health and Substance Abuse State Infrastructure Grant

The purpose of the project is to build on major behavioral health system reform efforts to develop systems of care specifically for children (age birth to 5; youth; youth with co-occurring disorders; substance abuse; transition age youth). The project aims to individualize service models for children and youth, establish culturally and linguistically appropriate practices, and form a coalition for an integrated, family-centered system for children and families.
