Facilitating Adoption of Results Based Accountability with the United Way of Lincoln/Lancaster County
Center researchers facilitated a process for the United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County to assess and implement a Results Based Accountability (RBA) design for their funding decisions and reporting. RBA was selected as a means to document community impact and create a bridge to emerging community agendas and metrics. Center staff articulated how RBA might offer improvements to existing approaches, discussed different frameworks for improving data collection, use, and reporting, as well as analysis of gap between current and desired processes. The PPC then designed and facilitated a process that included agency representatives in defining the metrics that should be adopted.
