Lancaster County Adult Drug Court Evaluation

The Nebraska Public Policy Center has conducted two evaluations for the Lancaster County Adult Drug Court. The first was a three year program evaluation of the Lancaster County Adult Drug Court conducted from October 2010 through September 2013 and the second evaluation was conducted from October 2014 through September 2017. The purpose of the evaluations were to identify the characteristics of drug court participants, determine the outcomes produced by the drug court, and to understand how the court operates. The evaluations determined the Lancaster County Drug Court follows the guiding principles of drug courts, has highly qualified treatment staff, and offers evidence based treatment though community treatment providers.
