Services
The mission of the PPC is to actively inform public policy by facilitating, developing, and making available objective research and analyses of issues for elected and appointed officials; state and local agency staff; the public at large; and others who represent the diverse policy interests of Nebraskans.
The PPC strives to hold to rigorous standards of objectivity, neutrality, and disinterested analyses. The tasks of the PPC are to investigate the factual and historical bases for an issue, lay out an array of alternatives based on empirical evidence, policy analysis, and discuss potential and/or likely consequences associated with alternatives.
Following is information on PPC services, project funding, methodology, and dissemination. For specific information on how the PPC can assist on your project, contact ppc@nebraska.edu or 402.472.5678.
