PPC Graduate Student Appointed to Fellowship Program

Joseph Hamm, a Public Policy Center Graduate research assistant and doctoral student in psychology and law, was one of eight UNL students to be appointed to the Center for Great Plains Studies 2013 Graduate Fellows Program.

According to the press release the program "provides a place for select graduate students to work, meet, obtain support, learn from fellow students, engage with Center faculty and staff, benefit from the center's resources and progress in their studies."

Jamee Kristen (Wolfe), (former Project Manager)
Dr. Kristen was the Project Manager for the Partnering to Reach Integrated Competitive Employment (PRICE) project at the Public Policy Center. She has also served as a Lecturer in Sociology at UNL and as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. (9/2005)

Past Public Policy Center Staff Bio

Jamee Kristen is currently a Research Specialist at the NU Public Policy Center. Dr. Kristen received a B.A. degree in Psychology from UNL in 1994. She earned a M.A. in Sociology from Washington State University in 1997 and a Ph.D. in Sociology from UNL in 2001. Previously, Dr. Kristen was the Project Manager for the Partnering to Reach Integrated Competitive Employment (PRICE) project at the Public Policy Center. She has also served as a Lecturer in Sociology at UNL and as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.

Dr. Kristen’s research interests include public participation in policymaking, collaborative processes, applied and policy research, health and environmental policy, and social movements and social change.
