The Huskers Speech Debate Team earned 6th place as a team at the American Forensic Association this month. This is the second highest Husker ranking in 150 years! PPC Undergraduate Research Assistant Cole Shardelow was a semifinalist in the competition for his Impromptu speech. Cole is a philosophy major and works at the Nebraska Attorney General's Office. Clare Frances Kennedy, a communication studies major, was a finalist, earning 4th place in Impromptu and 6th place in Drama.
