Policy Center Undergraduate Research Assistant Selected for Carnegie Endowment Internship in Washington, D.C.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Aline Abayo has been awarded a full-time research internship at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C. Aline, one of the PPC's outstanding undergraduate research assistants, has been selected as one of 13 new Junior Fellows in a nationwide competition. Currently, she is majoring in integrated sciences with a concentration in agriculture economics and statistics. On campus, she is involved with the honors after school clubs and the Yeutter Institute of International Agriculture and Finance. Her project “Effects of Changing Rainfall Patterns on Soil Nutrients and Crop Yield” also received support from the Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences program.
