Listening Sessions Seek Community Input on Making Lincoln An Age-Friendly Community

The University of Nebraska Public Policy Center is working with the City of Lincoln and Aging Partners to host eight community listening sessions around Lincoln to hear more about how Lincoln can be a better place for our aging community. Some topics of interest include transportation and sidewalks, parks, healthcare access, food access, and housing.

Who should participate? Anyone of any age is welcome to participate and lend their ideas to the discussion. While we are especially interested in underrepresented groups, all are welcome and invited to participate.

2.        Community Action Partnership – July 19th, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

3.        Capitol View Apartments – August 9th, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm (Limited to residents)

4.        Asian Community & Cultural Center – August 14th, 9:30 am - 11:00 am 

5.        “F” Street Recreation Center, 2nd Floor Meeting Rm – August 15th, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm 

6.        El Centro de las Américas – August 21st, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm 

7.        Aging Partners and OutNebraska – August 21st, 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
