The College of Journalism and Mass Communications (University of Nebraska–Lincoln) received a grant from the Nebraska Research Initiative to support the creation of the Social and Traditional Media Analytics and Research Tools Lab (SMART-Lab). The new facility will be a cornerstone for social and traditional media research, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and providing invaluable resources for academic and industry partners (Nebraska Today).
The University of Nebraska Public Policy Center's Dr. Lisa PytlikZillig, who has worked with the team as co-project manager since the project's inception, will serve as a consultant for the effort and will help with organization and administration, particularly of the advisory boards, during the first two years.
