Lisa PytlikZillig, senior research manager at the Public Policy Center, joins Rodrigo Franco Cruz, professor in the School of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, as faculty ombud for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Dr. PytlikZillig takes the place of Marjorie Kostelnik, who has retired. She is one of the Center’s researchers pioneering the area of Trust and Confidence. Much of her research focuses public engagement processes, especially engagements used to support responsible research and innovation (RRI) and around issues that provoke controversy and conflict. She also has been certified in juvenile victim-offender mediation, specialized alternative dispute resolution, family mediation, and basic mediation.
