Dr. Ashok Samal has been with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since the fall of 1988, where he is currently a Professor teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in computer vision, geospatial analysis, medical image analysis, computer graphics and programming languages. His primary research focus is on geospatial data analysis and spatial data mining.
