Jay Jeffries

Jay Jeffries joined the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center in 2025 as a postdoctoral research scientist. He also serves the Nebraska Evaluation and Research Center and Nebraska Statewide Workforce & Educational Reporting System in this joint-placed position. Some of his interests include research methodology and study designs, educational measurement, school mental health, public health, and data management. He specializes in generalized linear and structural equation modeling, psychometrics, and mixed-methods research. Jay received his B.S. and Ph.D from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
