Megan Baker

Megan joined the Public Policy Center in 2026. She earned a dual B.A. with distinction in Environmental Studies and Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2024. She then earned her master’s degree from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2026, with specializations in energy and climate, and environmental policy, with a focus in communications. Her interests include waste reduction, public and environmental health, and decarbonization. Outside the office, Megan enjoys volunteering for her tribe, the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, swimming, and reading.
