Valerie Swartz-Hansen

Valerie Swartz-Hansen joined the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center in 2024 and serves as our operations manager. Valerie’s work primarily focuses on finance and human resources activities. She obtained her B.S. in Psychology from Pittsburg State University and her MBA from Friends University. Prior to joining us, Valerie served UNL for the past 12 years where she focused on establishing relationships with faculty and staff while leading finance and human resource activities. Some fun facts about Valerie are that she enjoys cooking, gardening, and camping with her family.
