Every summer, students from the University of Nebraska live and intern in Washington D.C. and gain valuable experience in fields including public policy, international affairs, advocacy, non-profit administration, STEM, business, finance, and the humanities. The Washington D.C. Professional Enrichment Academy (DCPEA) is a free, value-added program for students who have already obtained summer internships in the D.C. metro area. DCPEA participants meet once a week in the evenings to connect with each other and NU alumni who work in one of the world’s premier capital cities.
To learn more about the DCPEA program, please join an informational session on Tuesday, March 1 from 12-1 PM (CT): https://go.unl.edu/dcpea
More information about the DCPEA program is available here, and applications for the summer of 2022 are open until April 15.
Lopers, Huskers, and Mavericks from across the University of Nebraska are encouraged to apply.
