Behavioral sciences and mental health clinicians are critically important members of a multidisciplinary BTAM team. Once trained in the “what” of their role on a BTAM team, many professionals find they have questions about the “how” of integrating BTAM work into their existing clinical practice. In this webinar, Dr. Lynn Van Male provides practical guidance and insights for how to structure BTAM work effectively, addressing common challenges regarding structured professional judgment tool selection, process framework creation, and ethical documentation and report-writing success.
Objectives
- Differentiate between a structured professional judgment (SPJ) approach vs. a SPJ tool or instrument.
- List three source agencies and/or documents that create the “bar” behavioral science and mental health clinicians meet to engage in BTAM work ethically and well.
- Enumerate three critical elements that behavioral sciences and mental health clinicians include in their BTAM written reports.
