Last Friday, researchers from the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center stood shoulder-to-shoulder with numerous organizations, united in the mission to prevent suicide. Governor Jim Pillen's proclamation of September as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month sends a powerful message: We're here for you! We're committed to listening, supporting, and taking action. Suicide is a complex issue, but together, we're taking steps toward mental well-being as a united community. Let's work hand in hand to create a brighter future for all.
