What is one challenge you have faced in your career and how did you overcome it?
Sometimes, not knowing what one does not know is of the most difficult challenges to overcome. As a first-generation college student, striving for a career related to academia, it was imperative that I closely listened to those in positions I was interested in, challenged my internal beliefs, and committed to changing when it was necessary.
