Staff Snapshot:
Meet some of the researchers and staff members who make PPC such a great place to work!
For today's staff snapshot, we spoke with Research Manager, Jennifer Farley, whose work focuses on education, and includes research and evaluation projects specific to school culture and climate, family engagement, and diverse learners.
Q&A with Jennifer Farley
- What is something you have learned from your work and collaborations?
I’ve only worked for the PPC for a short time, but have quickly learned about both the breadth of staff expertise and the diverse scope of associated projects. I’ve also learned about the strong relationships and partnerships that the PPC facilitates—including the number of “repeat customers” or organizations who continually partner with the PPC.
- How do you think the Center’s work impacts Nebraskans?
Given the diverse projects in which the PPC is involved, I think the Center impacts Nebraskans in lots of different ways. But, the common thread across these projects is that the Center gives Nebraskans the skills, tools, and support they need to make the state a better place.
- What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Trust your instincts.
- What/who inspires/motivates you?
My family.
